ReplyDeleteHTC's presumably high-end Windows Mobile 6.5-based mobile phone HTC HD2 (also known as the HTC Leo) has been recently reported to be on its way towards O2's lineup, yet it seems that other carriers might also launch it in the near future. One of these operators should be none other than T-Mobile, as a picture showing an HTC Touch HD2 headed towards its lineup has just emerged into the wild.
ReplyDeleteFor what it's worth, the rumors indeed seem to point towards the well-packed HTC Leo that emerged quite a while ago into the wild, as the specs list for the device reportedly shows the 1Ghz CPU (Qualcomm's Snapdragon that is), a 5-megapixel photo snapper with auto-focus and flash, and the large 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen display that will deliver the TouchFLO 3D user interface from HTC to its owners.
ReplyDeleteOne thing is certain here, the HTC HD2 is bound to become one of the nicest mobile phones launched on the market with Microsoft's Windows Mobile operating system on board. However, T-Mobile's customers will be able to enjoy the handset on their favorite carrier's airwaves, and it seems that another Windows phone from HTC is on its way to T-Mobile, the already unveiled HTC Touch2.
ReplyDeleteThe HD2, as many of you might already know, hasn't been announced officially just yet, and there are no details on when the handset might become available for purchase with T-Mobile or O2, yet the Touch2 might make an appearance as soon as October 6 is here. No exact details emerged here but, given the fact that HTC already announced that Touch2 would come to the shelves on October 6, we can easily assume that it might make an appearance in T-Mobile's lineup starting with that very day. Stay tuned to learn more details on this.
ReplyDelete"HTC has a long history of innovation with Windows Mobile, shipping millions of devices over the years in a wide range of designs," said Andy Lees, senior vice president, Mobile Communication Business, Microsoft Corp. "The HTC HD2 Windows phone breaks new ground with its responsive, touch screen."
ReplyDeleteThe HD2 uses the first capacitive touch display on a Windows phone to make viewing, zooming and resizing websites, Microsoft® Office files, PDF documents and pictures easier with just a pinch of your fingers. The large display also enables faster, more efficient and accurate typing using the onscreen keyboard. Utilizing Qualcomm’s new 1Ghz Snapdragon mobile processor, the HTC HD2 offers enhanced performance that improves the speed of applications, videos, games and more.
ReplyDeleteIts amazing windows phone with sense interface.
ReplyDeleteThe company behind the Mac operating system also points out to users of an iPhone or iPod touch that OS 3.1.2 contains security fixes previously incorporated in iPhone OS 3.1. According to the designated Support document (“About the security content of iPhone OS 3.1 and iPhone OS 3.1.1 for iPod touch”), vulnerabilities addressed include:

ReplyDeleteThe one thing Microsoft is learning is that the most important thing these days for smartphones is applications. It's no good having a smartphone and no applications to download onto it. Apple has bar far the most quality verified apps, followed by Android powered devices, then Symbian/Blackbery, and lastly Windows.
ReplyDeletethanks for sharing your information and your great views ..

ReplyDelete"Quietly brilliant is doing great things in a humble way, with the belief that the best things in life can only be experienced, not explained," said John Wang, chief marketing officer, HTC Corporation. "The YOU campaign is the perfect embodiment of 'quietly brilliant' and is core to HTC as a company, innovator and partner."
ReplyDeleteI like that huge screen and can't wait to hear about the performances of the 1GHz processor.

ReplyDeleteHTC HD2 delivers an experience your senses have been waiting for. The unprecedented 4.3-inch pixel-packed display is stunning. The world’s first capacitive touch technology on a Windows® phone along with 1 GHz processing power ensure a smooth and lightning-fast response to the lightest touch of your finger.
ReplyDeleteThe YOU campaign is focused on driving broad, global visibility and understanding of HTC's unique brand promise – that it's all about YOU, the consumer, and in fact not the device. HTC worked with Los Angeles-based advertising agency, Deutsch LA Inc. to create the YOU campaign that will employ an integrated-media approach to reach consumers via television, print, outdoor and online.
ReplyDeletenice thinking "We've come to have a very emotional relationship with our phones. Many of our key experiences in any given day come through this one device and yet most of the advertising in the category is still about utility," says Eric Hirshberg, co-CEO and chief creative officer, Deutsch LA. "HTC's whole design philosophy is very personal. They make phones where your experience is completely unique, so we think there is a connection between how people feel about their phones and how HTC makes them."
ReplyDeleteReally different thinking "Some of life's most brilliant ideas started with a simple doodle on the back of a napkin," said Simon Myers, CEO of Figtree. "HTC's new look uses this visual language of doodles to explain all the quietly brilliant features and benefits of HTC devices in a simple and human way."
ReplyDeleteNice and differ from other HTC worked with London-based creative consultancy, FigTree to create the quietly brilliant brand positioning. The 'quietly brilliant' positioning was inspired by HTC's culture of putting customers first, born from a heritage of creating breakthrough products and continued innovation. As part of HTC's culture, the "quietly brilliant" positioning will be rolled out in all forms of communication and brand touch points across the company.

ReplyDeleteHow do you think digital technology will impact Health Care or Human Service in the next ten years? What new technological devices might developed? In what new ways will technology impact the day to day operation of Health Care and Human services?

ReplyDeleteThank for this post
While the phone and the specs look fine, it may be hard for them to gain market share from giants that are iPhone and Android powered phones. Windows has not had a great public profile after Windows Vista, maybe things will look better after Windows 7.
