At the Wireless Enterprise Symposium 2009, LogMeIn introduced the alpha version of LogMeIn Ignition for BlackBerry Storm, providing the opportunity for owners of the latest smartphone from RIM anywhere access to their computer with Windows or Macintosh connected Internet as if they were physically sitting face to him.
The planned features for LogMeIn Ignition include:
- Control remote access to files and programs from any computer connected to the Internet as if the user was before. LogMeIn Ignition is compatible with Windows computers using LogMeIn Pro or LogMeIn IT Reach LogMeIn Free and Mac OS X with LogMeIn Free.
- Safeguard passwords.
- List "My Computer" view of all computers attached to LogMeIn account and the status of the user status (connected / disconnected)
- Navigation via touch screen and full keyboard ability.
