Aware of the importance of friendship in the virtual world through existing social networking sites, HTC released smartphone based product for the beginners. This variants phone named Wildfire already has been use Android Eclair 1.2 operating system.
Even use form factor design like HTC Desire, HTC Wildfire added with special features to be more focus on an integration with the most popular social network. One of the features that are not available in other Android-based HTC phone is HTC Caller ID. This feature displays the caller's status on Facebook complete with date of birth.
The other features are Friend Stream displaying Facebook and Twitter friend's status on the same screen. This feature is similar to Timescape, the existing features on the Sony Ericsson's Android phone.
The other features, HTC Wildfire is equipped with an internal GPS for navigation, Accelerometer for play motion-based games, Digital Compass, Proximity Sensor that automatically turn off the screen when brought near the face when called, and Ambient Light Sensor which adjusts the light intensity of the destruction time screen used inside or outside the home. While for the purposes of connectivity, the phone also provides Bluetooth v2.1 A2DP, WiFi b/g, and standard 3.5 mm audio jack.
For photograph lover, the resulting picture quality is good enough thanks to the flash and auto focus system. Results photographs or video recordings can be enjoyed comfortably on scratch-resistant screen measuring 3.2 inches.
