Virgin Mobile today announced plans to encourage Android handsets on their phone networks, after catching desire to HTC and Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 handset.
HTC Desire (see picture) became one of the stars at the Mobile World Congress 2010. Armed with 1GHz Snapdragon processor and 3.7-inch AMOLED screen, it includes Google's Android phone Nexus One, but covered with tasteful HTC skin.
Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 is not too bad, too, with 4-inch touch screen and Timescape application that unites all your social networks, contacts, and messages along the river in one container.
Both new phones will be available on the market next April and although Virgin is still the details of their tariffs, the network promises that the price plan will be "very interesting". Both smartphone joined Samsung and LG ddalam Max Galaxy Portal InTouch portfolio Virgin Android device.
