Based on the Intel platform Moorestown, the LG-GW990 runs on Moblin OS 2.1 under Linux. The mobile terminal has a full touch screen 4.8 "(12.19 cm) with an aspect ratio of 2.13:1 makes browsing mobile particularly pleasant. The display resolution of 1024 x 480 pixels can read Web content in full screen, without scrolling through pages. This terminal should be marketed in the second half of 2010.
LG said that GW990 is designed to support networks Long Term Evolution (LTE) and that this feature will be added in the future. Roadmap the LG-GW990 gives LG a unique opportunity to distinguish itself as a leader in LTE chips.
