LG Launch Smartphone : LG-GW550

Written By Kaisar Woll on 2009/08/16 | Sunday, August 16, 2009

LG Smartphone GW550 is a latest-generation HSDPA (2G Network GSM 850/900/1800/1900), equipped with MP3/MP4/AAC/AAC + / eAAC + / WMA player, Document viewer (DOC, XLS, PPT, PDF), of v2.0 with A2DP bluetooth for data transmission at short range, E-mail, WAP 2.0/xHTML browser, expandable memory, mp3 and polyphonic ringtones, multimedia messages, mms, IM, Push Email. E 'possible to send MMS with text, music or spoken, and create a message to be sent easily as a file attachment. You can also customize the sounds, images and games and connect via USB cable. The main camera is from 3:15 Mpixel (2048x1536 pixels) with autofocus, ability to record video and see the person you talk (video).

The LG GW550 cell phone looks just like the Nokia E71, the GW550 has one nice improvement: it removes two shortcut keys and uses the extra space for an even wider control pad. New LG Phones - LG GM550 features include a 3 megapixel camera with a VGA sensor up front for video calling, and stereo speakers on board, a front-facing QWERTY keypad, a 2.4-inch QVGA display, 3G, ( no GPS ?) and runs Windows Mobile 6.1. That is a nice looking phone! If this was an Android phone, it would rock!

The LG GW550 has a keyboard with a front facing QWERTY. The QVGA Display is about 2.4 inches and the display is a non touch one. The other features of this LG GW550 are the support for the stereo speakers, a 3 MP camera, and support for 7.2 Mbps HSPA 3G data connectivity as well as a battery of 1300 mAh.

The new Windows smart phone from LG provides support for the quad band GSM as well as Global 3G. But immense pressure has to be provided to find a place with the AT&T as the provider already has Omnia Pro B7320.

Sprint, Verizon as well as T-Mobile will be provided with other versions of the Windows Mobile Standard so that there will be any confusion for the customers in USA.

  13. i really like the design.LG GT505 is a touchscreen bar that comes with a 3" 256K-color WQVGA (400 x 240 pixels) display. It builds on the Korean company's experience with dedicated car navigation systems (mostly in the Asian market that is) to provide a seamless navigation experience.thanks.
