Nokia announced the U.S. availability of the N95 8GB, with six months of free turn-by-turn directions and voice guidance in Nokia Maps.
The sleek, gloss black N95 8GB includes a 5.0-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, built-in A-GPS, Wi-Fi, HSDPA and a two-way slide for access to both telephony and multimedia functions. A 2.8-inch (240 x 320 px) QVGA display makes watching videos, browsing the Internet or viewing maps a pleasure, and with 8GB of memory the device offers up to 20 hours of video or up to 6000 songs.
With A-GPS, N95 8GB owners can navigate to their locations using Nokia Maps, accessing maps for over 150 countries including a selection of preloaded U.S. state maps. The Nokia N95 8GB will also support Nokia Share Online 3.0, available via Nokia Download!, allowing users to upload photos and videos with one click straight to Share on Ovi, Flickr or Vox.
At an estimated price of $749 USD, the Nokia N95 8GB will be available through Nokia Nseries retailers across the United States, including Nokia Flagship stores in New York City and Chicago, as well as many online e-tailers.

A new report from Juniper Research has found that the combination of greater 3G adoption and a marked increase in rich media, made-for-mobile content will drive mobile entertainment revenues to $47.5 billion by 2010.
However, the Juniper report cautions that entertainment service adoption will be retarded unless improvements are made in areas such as the user interface, network coverage and the excessive cost of data services. It also notes that in some mobile areas -- such as gambling, adult content and some social networking services -- national and international legislation could either adversely impact on growth, or in some cases prevent any service deployment.
According to report author Dr Windsor Holden, "Traditionally, services such as ringtones and wallpapers accounted for the bulk of mobile entertainment services. However, usage patterns are changing rapidly with the increasing availability of more sophisticated and attractive content such as streamed and broadcast video, social networking services and multiplayer games, which have been designed specifically for the mobile environment."
Additionally the Juniper report finds that the China and Far East region currently provides the largest market for Mobile Entertainment services and contributes around 41% of global revenues. Despite rapid growth in developing markets, the Asia Pacific region is forecast to retain its leadership through to 2012, when it will still contribute 33% of global revenues.

Virus tidak hanya mewabah lewat file atau pun dokumen pada komputer maupun handphone tetapi juga bisa melalui cara nada panggil. Cara kerjanya sama dengan virus komputer. Virus ini berasal dari Eropa dan sudah mulai menyerang Amerika, Asia dan sekarang telah masuk ke Indonesia.
Cara kerjanya :
1. Handphone anda akan berdering dan menampilkan nomor pada layar, antara lain: XXX, YYY, OOO, 123.
2. Bila anda menerima kode pada layar handphone seperti demikian,jangan diangkat, biarkan saja sampai deringnya mati sendiri.
3. Setelah missed Call periksalah dalam daftar call-register hp, anda akan mendapatkan huruf XXX, YYY, OOO, 123.
4. Kembali ke menu utama layar HP anda, cobalah kembali ke call-register/missed call. Nomor aneh tersebut sudah hilang, aneh bukan..?
Jika menerima hal yang sedemikian, berarti seseorang sedang berusaha mengirimkan virus ke dalam Handphone anda. Motif : Biasanya si pelaku memilih korbannya secara acak, bisa orang dalam negeri sendiri atau juga dari luar negeri. Mereka biasanya mendapatkan nomor HP, bila anda pernah memasukkan nomor HP via internet untuk melakukan suatu registrasi e-mail atau konfirmasi pembayaran. Setelah si pelaku berhasil memasukkan virus ke dalam HP, virus akan mengirimkan data identitas, No SIM CARD dan PIN anda. Dari data yang didapat, orang tersebut bisa menggunakan pulsa anda dari jarak jauh dan memakai identitas anda utk hal-hal yg buruk. Sehingga anda akan kehabisan pulsa secara mendadak atau perlahan (karena pulsa anda dipakai secara bersamaan dengan si pelaku). Cara kerja virus : 1. Virus yg berhasil masuk, akan segera menyerang simcard anda dan mengirimkan informasi yg berguna bagi si pelaku. 2. Virus akan segera menguras pulsa anda. 3. Virus akan berpindah ke software dalam HP anda 4. Virus akan mengendap dan terus bercokol dalam Software HP anda, jadi jika anda akan berfikir utk mengganti SIM CARD, maka dgn segera virus akan menyerang SIM CARD baru. 5. Setelah waktu tertentu Virus akan menjebol software, dan tamatlah riwayat HP. 6. Gawatnya, bila HP tersebut dihubungkan pada komputer/modem, maka virus akan menyerang komputer. (Edi Suhendi)
